Grooved Wall Panels Performance


Absorption is usually defined in terms of an absorption coefficient(usually denoted by the Greek letter alpha, α), defined as the ratio of absorbed to incident sound energy from a single interaction between a sound wave and a certain material. Absorption coefficients range from 0 to 1 and vary with frequency, α=0 means that the material absorbs no sound and reflects all sound energy incident on it. α=1 means that the material absorbs all sound energy incident on it and reflects none.

 

Absorption coefficients of 0 and 1 are ideal values that do not exist in reality because all materials reflect and absorb some sound. In general, materials having absorption coefficients less than 0.15 are considered to be reflective and those having absorption coefficients greater than 0.4 are considered to be absorptive.

The standard range of wood veneers is available on an exstock basis, however Tengfei can choose from international suppliers quality veneers to match your choice

 

Paint Finish

 

BUNGE wooden grooved acoustic panels are available in either Pantone or RAL colours. This gives almost an unlimited choice in selection. The paint finish is in a high quality 2pac finish and can be supplied in Gloss, Matt or Satin finishes.



Installation Methods

1> First fix the aluminum profile onto the wooden frame or bottom board, and their distance suggested 6about 600mm.

 

2> Filled the 32-64kg/m density acoustic foam among aluminum profiles.

 

3> Use the clips to fix the perforated acoustic panel to the aluminum profile.

 

4> When install several acoustic panel, the distance between noses to noses suggested 2-3mm.

 

5> If install the acoustic panel in the horizontal way, then the notch of the panel should face down, and it need to be fixed tight with clips. After that install pieces and pieces of acoustic panel onto the lowest one.
