We know that the garage is probably one of the most useful spaces in the home, and it is certainly the most versatile.
But the needs of modern men and women are different from the traditional dirty parking lot.
Doors can be provided.
Now it's the 21st century and we're trading our brushes for digital cameras, hammers and nails for 3D printers, laptops and flat panel monitors for work tables.
The room traditionally used to turn the wrench may now be more suitable for something up --to-date.
Let's turn a airy, noisy, smelly, damp, undignified garage into a climate-controlled, isolated space with a modern styleSimple look.
Today we will build a movable wall that will turn your garage into a modern workspace, a home theater, a man's cave, her cottage or a home office.
In order to do this, we need to isolate the space from the elements first, secondly the garage from the external sound, and last but not least, give the room a livable aesthetic. Let's begin!
The construction of the wall is very simple, once completed, a mobile partition will be generated, closing the garage and becoming the key Wall of the contemporary era.

The frame of the wall is simple, based on the design of the existing wall in your home, there are some key differences.
Garawl is designed to be stronger than a typical wall, mounted on wheels and easy to relocate.
Look at the plan for the first step before proceeding.
To build the bottom frame, we will cut the 10'2x 4 into 9' 5.
5 "with 4 81" 2x4 columns and a 38 attached.
5 "2x4 upright as shown in the figure.
We can then add the horizontal bar and vertical support as shown in Figure 2 and add the bottom and top of the plywood shelf as shown in Figures 3 and 4.
Then temporarily fix your swivel casters.
The frame can now be installed in place, the test is appropriate, and if needed, the gasket can be added to the mounting plate of the rear casters to take into account the slope on the garage floor.
Once everything is square and fits closely, we can add L-
The bracket on the base is kept at 90 degrees.
Then proceed to the next step.
We are making progress now!
Depending on Figure 5 and Figure 6, the Wall can now be placed face down to continue connecting the frame components.
Be sure to measure twice, cut once, and use squares to make sure everything is real and check your work regularly.
Once it's done, your frame can be lifted in place and check to see if it's appropriate and functional.
Lean the frame against the wall, mark it in contact with the wall with a pencil, roll and make any necessary adjustments before proceeding.
Next, we will install the remaining 2x 4S to the wall, exactly where garawl touches, in the pencil marks we just made.
Now that our wall frame is complete and the mounting plate is connected to the wall, we can start adding components, accessories and completing our wall.
We will organize our part before moving on.
Let's start by installing drywall.
It is science to hang dry walls;
Support them evenly using large sheets and secure them on the frame with drywall screws.
It is an art to finish the drywall with corner beads, tape, spackle and grain.
If you have not used drywall before, you will want to understand the process before proceeding with this step.
Next, we can install the outlet box on the vertical 2x4, making sure that the box is sticking out as large as the thickness of our drywall, in which case it is 1/2 ".
Next, use a tool knife to carefully cut holes around the outlet box of the drywall from the back, and install the outlet box with the supplied screws, leaving the panel on one side until after the paint.
Garawl is mounted on the wall around the garage door to ensure easy and tight fit for each operation.
The magnet is simple to install.
Your garawl is tightly pressed on your 2x4 Wall stand, making a pencil mark from the top 4 inch of the wall on the wall and 2x4 stand, another mark is also 2 inch below.
Do the same 4 inch from the bottom and do 2 inch from the top.
Mark the depth now.
Because the 2x4 frame that meets the wall bracket is 1.
"In width, we will mark the depth of the position of the magnet.
75 "in so that our magnet is centered.
Now, connect your Forstner drill bit, mark the depth of one equal to the two magnetic iron piles, and drill all the corresponding holes to the appropriate depth at each mark.
The magnet can then be paired into two pieces and a small flush-
The head wood screw can be inserted into each pair and screwed into the hole to ensure that all the poles on the 2x4 stand are facing the corresponding South Pole on the wall.
By magnetic connection to the wall, the hole screw can be attached to the top of the 2x4 bracket, and the other hole screw can be attached to the vicinity of the wall.
Then, pass one end of the steel cable through the hole eye and close the ring by connecting the sleeve and curling with a curler or vise clip.
Do a similar loop on the other side and add a hook.
Repeat on the other side.
Now you can connect the cable to the hole eye on the wall to increase security and avoid unnecessary movement or tilt.
We can now connect all the lines.
We will first install our power strip on the wall near the air conditioning outlet.
We can cut off the plug of the power strip and peel off the wire.
Next, cut off the male ends from one of your extension cords and peel them off.
Connect the green, black and white wires of both to the spade connector and to the appropriate terminals of the AC outlet.
If you are not sure how to connect the socket, please refer to the instructions that come with the socket.
For your convenience, you can now plug any gadget you want into your power strip, insert the extension cord of your wall into the socket on the wall, all your electronics will be with the outside
We can plug in the HDMI cable on the back of the HDMI socket and drill holes with our hole saw next to the TV stand so that once the TV is ready for installation we can go through the power supply and HDMI cable.
Take this opportunity to manage your wires neatly with Wire brackets.
After the next step you will not be able to reach some wires and we hope everything is safe.
Next, let's cut and insert the insulation.
The insulation material can be easily measured and cut with a tool knife, and should be placed in each individual cavity of the inner frame of the wall.
After insertion, connect all seams and gaps with insulating tape.
Put on a few layers of paint and, according to the manufacturer's instructions, now add the optional TV wall stand and screen and make sure to center it and level it.
Finally, add the handle and move the wall easily.
What's the difference!
Your garage has now become a modern livable space, away from the weather and isolated from the outdoors.
Not only that, you can easily roll your wall to one side and get into your garage door!
What will your new space look like?
